Halloween at School

I have a group of girls in my class who couldn't wait to dress up for Halloween. They even planned my outfit, "Homework Superhero". They made the t-shirts and I ordered the large blow-up pencils. Planning the costume was equally as fun as dressing up, and we enjoyed the school carnival afterwards.

Tanaka Farms

We've made it a tradition to pick out pumpkins from Tanaka Farms in Irvine. The kids usually go for the smaller, cuter pumpkins. Steve and I follow their lead. We did not carve them this year, they last a little longer that way and stretches out the season.

Cross Country Season Has Begun!

Weekend Visit with Gretchen

Gretchen visited us in October for a fun weekend. We had excellent weather, and went to the Huntington Beach pier, the Long Beach Aquarium and Bolsa Chica State Beach. She was able to meet up with Mari's family as well. Her one food request was frozen yogurt, I hope she enjoyed our local place. We enjoyed having Gretchen over!
