Steve and I enjoyed a few days of Spring Break on our own, since the kids had theirs the week before. At Crystal Cove, we put up a tent and read books and magazines and had a picnic lunch. We also took a walk along the beach. I could have easily stayed hours more.

Day in Carlsbad

We went to Carlsbad to pick up Steve's 5k race items and made a day out of it. The nearby beach is great for finding sand crabs. We stopped by the outlet mall and bought Sam a (dry) shirt and jeans. It had been a while since I've seen him doze off in the car.

Best Day at Disney

Anna's friend's mom Katy works at Disney and was able to sign our family in during Spring Break. We had an amazing time. The highlight was riding on the Radiator Springs Racers, a ride that is scenic, speedy, and super fun! It was great experiencing Cars Land and several attractions together for the first time.
