Bella's Party

Bella turned 10! Once again we were invited to her birthday extravaganza, the theme this time was "Alice in Wonderland". Highlights included the balloon dress and the beautiful Cheshire Cat Hat Cake. What a magical time!

SCMAF Track Meet

Anna ran a 2:50 in the 800 meter at this track meet (that's 2 times around the track, half a mile), and came in third place for her age group. Well done, Anna!

Crystal Cove

Now that summer is here, you'll see me catching up on my blog entries. But I wanted to post these photos from our recent trip to Crystal Cove. At Crystal Cove we saw tiny crabs, sea urchins, sea anemones and various types of shells. We also had fun playing jumping games with seaweed. Enjoy! (All of these photos were taken with my iPhone.)

Grandparents Day

Earlier this month my mom attended Grandparents' Day for Anna and Sam. Each grade, up through sixth grade, sang songs and recited poems. My mom took an extended lunch hour from work to attend this event. The kids were very happy to see her. Happy Grandparents' Day!

Father's Day 2011

Burgers, fries, and onion rings at the Habit, Salted Caramel cones at Pinkberry, intense dodgeball against the garage, and Deluxe Bananagrams. What a fun day!
