H&M dress and Big shoes
I picked up this dress for Anna a few weeks ago, at the new H&M store at South Coast, it's a cute print with tiny green apples, the fashionista decided to wear it with jeans.
Sam decided to try on dad's shoes which were coveniently left on the couch. Someday Sam's feet may be bigger than these shoes. Eek.

Breakfast with friends
Hey, if Mari has been blogging daily since arriving in Japan for a busy 3-week trip, then I should be able to blog a little more often, even if the entries are not as glamorous, hee hee...
We had some friends over for breakfast on Saturday, we had so much fun it went through lunchtime as well! Ok Sam, let's be a little more social...
Ok, he's warming up and looking at some photos on Jilly's phone...
Hee hee, that picture was so funny it made my belly tickle!
Jill had these funky glasses in her car, the girls couldn't resist!

Mother's Day 2007
It has been a special day, it started off early with gifts, among other things: poems and a candle holder from Anna, a slideshow, an IPod case and jogging accessory from Steve, a video from Yumi (thanks!) and this blouse, not meant for the day but something I admired of Mari's and wore today, handmade by her.
We went to Fashion Island, the original plan being I'd shop a bit, but the best-laid plans involving kids don't always work out the way you envisioned, sometimes it turns out better. Here are the kids and Steve admiring the koi pond. It was nice strolling around outside in the cool sunny weather.
This little guy did let go of dad's hand every so often to dash through the crowds of people with reckless abandon!
Today will end with Thai take-out food. Yum.

Wild Animal Park
On Saturday we went out to the Wild Animal Park. This bird looks like a very unique and somewhat scary pelican...
Sam actually sat in the stroller at times, he loved the bridges and the birds...
Anna couldn't wait to try out her new camera, it's an inexpensive Disney camera from Toys R Us...
Anna took this photo of some tropical birds! Guess she sees mommy taking photos so often and wanted to join in on the fun.
They have a tethered hot-air balloon at the park now, it goes up in the air quite a distance... one day we'll go on it... our favorites during this trip included an elephant show, a butterfly exhibit, and just being in a different environment taking in lots of new sights.
