Japan! Day 7, Part 2 : Exploring the Goshono Jomon Grounds

The museum includes spacious outdoor grounds with replicas of the dwellings where Jomon people lived. Nakamura-san continued his tour in English, he was extremely knowledgeable in many aspects of the Jomon history. Anna and Sam were very preoccupied by the many frogs hopping about in the fields. They made companions with two of the frogs and brought them along on our tour. Both kids were convinced that we could take these critters home with us, with my permission. They were both a little disappointed when they had to release the frogs.
