Japan! April 18 Part 3 - Exploring Nara
We just had one day to spend in Nara but were able to cover a lot of area. While my mom went to the Nara National Museum, I strolled around the extensive grounds around the Todaiji Temple including the Kaidan-in Temple Hall. The petals from the cherry blossoms were starting to cover the ground in the park. My mom met up again, and after seeing the Kofuku-ji Temple up close, we walked to Old Town Nara, passing Sarusawa Pond along the way. We ended our visit at the Seiji Fujishiro Exhibition at the Nara Prefectural Museum of Art.
Nara is definitely a place where you can spend a few days and discover lots of new things. Nara has so much sightseeing to offer, yet it still has a sense of tranquility and spaciousness. I would love to visit here again in the future.
