Japan! April 16 Part 1 - Takayama Jinya

The next morning, my mom and I visited Takayama Jinya, a former government building from the Edo period. Things I noted here: the maze-like quality of the structure while going from room to room, the uniqueness of each room including the kitchen and the "torture chamber", and the thousands of roof shingles which continue to be replaced to this day.
