Marilyn's Japanese Celebration

We celebrated Marilyn's birthday when we visited up north during the summer. We recreated "nagashi somen" as we had enjoyed in Japan, catching the flowing noodles before they reached the bottom. Everyone did a great job! We also enjoyed fried rice, cucumber salad and Japanese meats. The backyard was a beautiful perfect setting for our meal. Happy birthday Marilyn!
