My Birthday, Part 2

After lunch we went to the Santa Barbara Zoo. This is considered a smaller zoo but it has a great variety of larger animals such as elephants, and my favorite giraffes. Afterwards we walked down State Street where I bought my birthday present, a giraffe necklace at F21. It was a wonderful day and a nice way to ease back into the Southern California lifestyle we enjoy, especially in the summer.
