Japan! Day 3, Part 1 : Run and Krispy Kreme

We all had a sound sleep in the Century Southern Tower Hotel and awoke to this beautiful view of Shinjuku Gyoen surrounded by the skyscrapers and city buildings. Anna and I did a quick jog around the park, then met up with Sam for Krispy Kreme donuts while Steve did a run. Krispy Kreme is located just a few steps away from the hotel, and we had some tasty donuts fresh off the "conveyor belt". They seemed lighter, and less sweet than the ones at home, which made the donuts in Japan even better by comparison. I couldn't resist ordering a green tea donut. Afterwards we went back to the hotel to get ready for exploring the city!
