Skirball Cultural Center

Last month we visited the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, I had read about the Noah's Ark exhibit and wanted our family to check it out.

It's a lovely walk from the parking structure to the exhibit.

Wow, in this 8,000 foot gallery is a floor-to-ceiling wooden ark filled with amazing creatures. It's a gorgeous structure, the colors in the wood itself is a sight to behold.

What's more amazing is that these creatures are crafted from recycled materials.

The interactive displays kept the kids occupied for a long time.

Peek-a-boo! Here's some more animals looking out from the ark.

Anna and Sam also enjoyed the craft table, with cardboard arks and magazines from which to cut and glue animals pictures.

Can you imagine a more magical crafting space?

On our way out we enjoyed the misting machine. Totally fun day!
Fyi, the Skirball Center has free Thursdays, tickets must be reserved in advance.
