Birthday Lunch

My birthday and Yumi's birthday fall on July 18th and July 20th. We are less than one year apart. When we were kids, we'd celebrate our birthdays on one day, and my mom would make two round chocolate layer cakes. This year, she continued the tradition by taking us out to lunch at Bluefin in Newport Beach. Anna joined us as well. The adults ordered the Chef's Special Meal. The meal included hors d'oeuvres, sashimi salad, white salmon, clam soup, sushi set, and dessert. Anna had the tempura set. It was a delicious meal, beautifully presented. Thank you so much Mama!
