Michi

Our Michi passed away September 11, 2014. Steve and I got her as a stray, his coworker from 13+ years ago had found her on the streets, and I remember telling Steve if we made the decision to even look at the dog, then we should probably commit to having her. We got her about a year before Anna was born, right after we moved into our house. Michi was the center of our lives until Anna was born, then Sam was born. Michi accommodated our changing family. She was always a good watchdog and excellent companion. She had a loud bark but never bit anyone. I remember the night before she passed away, Steve was at prayer watch and Michi wanted to go outside and gaze at the beautiful clear night sky. The next day Steve came home for lunch and found Michi passed away in the den. Up until the end, she didn't burden us and brought us an immeasurable amount of joy. We miss you so much Michi.
