Peters Canyon

While the kids were in school, Steve and I went out to lunch and then took a hike in Peters Canyon. This is where Anna does some of her runs with her track club. Steve has even done a 10-miler here. I don't know how. Some of the hills are so steep they look like cliffs at certain angles. I literally had to hold Steve's hand while descending several rocky and sandy paths. We even encountered a snake, my first in the wild. Needless to say I was quite winded at the end of our time in Peters Canyon. Still, it was a lot of fun.
