Bonfire, Hot Dogs, Smores

This morning Steve and I took a jog along the beach while Yumi babysat the kids. Seeing so many empty firepits along the way, as chilly as it was, we were inspired to have a bonfire before sunset to end the year 2010. We quickly bought fixings for dinner and dessert and drove to Huntington Beach. Anna was a bit cold but fortunately Yumi came all bundled up and lent Anna one of her many jackets. Steve did a great job starting up the flames, and we enjoyed hotdogs and smores. Sam declared it to be the "best day ever", hopefully he has just as much fun tomorrow, his 6th birthday. Cheers to a memorable year!
