El Dorado Park in Long Beach

We are taking advantage of Southern California and all it has to offer this summer (on the "staycation" until our trip up north later this month), we are utilizing our various passes and visiting parks, old and new. It's nice being outdoors and exploring while the weather has been nice and on the mild side. The kids have learned to enjoy these nature walks, it's especially fun when some animals make an appearance. I'm taking photos every chance I get, so during the month of August you will see a lot of new blog entries.
