LA Natural History Museum, Part 1

Last month we went to the Los Angeles Natural History Museum. I remember visiting here when I was younger, and enjoying the enormous animal "dioramas", I appreciate them even more now. This day, walking into the hall of gems, I admit I started staring wistfully into the display cases, thinking how a big ruby ring would look on my finger... until Sam pointed to one gigantic jewel and said in a rather loud voice, "That looks like a popsicle," followed by, "Those looks like staples." I couldn't stop laughing. One man's treasure is another man's popsicle.
