Second Summer Trip to the San Diego Zoo

We went to the San Diego Zoo for the second time this summer to check out some of the exhibits we didn't see the first time around. But we always like watching the flamingos that greet us right when we enter the zoo.


I believe this is a hyacinth macaw, located near the children's petting zoo.


Here's a cute goat from the petting zoo, just the right size for Sam.


We took the bus tour to get a better look at some of the animals, it was a double-decker bus and Sam had an even greater advantage by standing on Steve's lap... did you know the zoo covers over 100 acres of land?

Souvenirs are at every destination, tough to steer the kids away from them... Steve is being very a very conscientious shopper!
