Walnut Creek 2007 Part 1

We just came back from a 3-night stay in Walnut Creek. On Saturday the family gatherered together and celebrated Gretchen's birthday with a bbq at Kim and Mark's house. Mark and I put our cameras on timer-mode so we could get everyone in the photo. Nice!

Backtracking, we had dinner at the grandparent's house Thursday evening, and dessert was ice cream. Anna was yelling and jumping up and down when she saw carton after carton come out of the freezer, "just like an ice-cream store".

Sam's favorite place during the trip was the "garden swing", he must have been in it more than 50% of the time while we were in Walnut Creek, the other 50% he was either sleeping or being held by Steve.

These two girls were nicknamed "LilyAnna" since they were pretty inseperable during the trip. Grandma and Grandpa even bought these matching dresses for them. Cute!

Sam and Teddy were good sports about sitting next to the crazy girls. There's something really special among cousins, a bond that can transcend other friendships.

Cute pictures. Sam looks very content in the "garden swing".

Everyone looks so happy - and that's a lot of ice cream! Any tummyaches afterwards?
