Today we celebrated Steve's birthday, the theme was basketball! Yumi picked out the decor, and with Mama's chicken katsu and rice, and an amazing dancing video made by Rob (with input by Mari :), followed by great 3-on-3 basketball, the day ended with these amazing cakes handcrafted by Rob, he must have used some measuring tools and stencils for the precise frosting job. It was a terrific day.

it was really fun.
That was indeed the birthday party of my hoop dreams. The decorations, food, and cake were top-notch! The video was beyond professional, some trick editing almost made it appear I had a shred of rhythm. The 3 on 3 really impressed me how skilled my friends are at bball, and how I'm not nearly as skilled as I thought I was.
May Pope John Paul II rest in peace.
